In 2022 we reached gender parity in the UN Special Procedures, out of the 23 persons appointed by the President of the Human Rights Council this year, 70% were women.
In this conversation we talk with Ambassador Federico Villegas, President of UN Human Rights Council and Permanent Representative of Argentina to the United Nations Office, about his contribution to this achievement and the necessary steps to sustain it.
